They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.

The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Likewise, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
